                  (formely George 1V Bridge - 1820)
  • Inscription on O'Neill Crowley Bridge:

          "AD 1911      
          The Cork County Council changed the name of this bridge
          to perpetuate the name of Peter O'Neill Crowley
          who was shot down by British Soldiery while fighting for
          Irish National Independence in Kilclooney Wood
          near Mitchelstown 30th March 1867"
