Cork Public Museum (Cork City Museum) Situated in Fitzgerald's Park the Museum has a variety of exhibits of general interest. Displays intimately connected with the growth and development of Cork city from its earliest days are an additional feature.
This Georgian house (museum premises) was earlier the Convent of the Bon Secour Sisters. The Sisters later moved to College Road. It was formally known as " Shrubbery House. "
Here, King Edward V11 and Queen Alexandra lunched in August 1903, during their visit to Cork city.
