Lewis Glucksman Gallery
- The Lewis Glucksman Gallery is a major addition to the vibrant cultural life of the Munster region.
The foundation stone was laid on 27th June, 2003 by Dr Lewis Glucksman.
The Gallery was designed by Dublin Architects O'Donnell - Tuomey. The building floor area is 2300sq metres spread over seven floors.
The Lewis Glucksman gallery was completed in 2004 and officially opened by President Mary McAleese.
It is a cultural and educational institution that promotes the research, creation and exploration of the visual arts.
It is located at University College Cork's main entrance on the Western Road.
The Glucksman is a landmark building that includes display spaces, lecture facilities, a riverside restaurant and gallery shop.
