How to arrive at Blue Dolphin B&B Accommodation Cork on foot or by Bus/Taxi from
Cork Train Station and Cork Bus Station. | ||||

From Cork Railway Station (A) By Taxi - A Taxi (accommodates 4 people) costs approx 10 euro. (B) On Foot + Bus - to Cork Bus Station - approx 5 minute walk (To get the No 8 "Bishopstown" Bus which passes Blue Dolphin B&B). Cork City Buses cost 1.30 euro per person per single journey (C) On Foot - 25 mins walk to Blue Dolphin B&B.(5 mins walk to Cork Bus Station). As you leave Cork Railway Station Turn Left onto the main road. Pass the first slip road on your LHS. Pass "St Patrick's Credit Union" on your LHS. Turn Left at the next junction ("Unity House" is at this LHS corner). Pass the immediate road on your LHS and leave Siemens Building on your LHS. At the bottom of this street Turn Right (You are now on Penrose Quay). At the next traffic lights Turn Left onto the Bridge (Brian Boru Bridge) (it is a steel bridge with a steel rectangular frame overhead). At the end of this bridge Turn Right. On your LHS is Cork Bus Station. From Cork Bus Station There are three options of travel to Blue Dolphin B&B from Cork Bus Station.(A) By Taxi - A Taxi (accommodates 4 people) costs approx 7 euro. (B) By Bus - from Outside the "Bus Station" - Get the No 8 "Bishopstown" Bus. Cork City Buses cost 1.30 euro per person per single journey. Ask the Bus Driver to Let you off at - "the Bus Stop immediately after the UCC College Gates on the Western Road". Blue Dolphin B&B Cork is situated directly across the road from this Bus Stop (C) On Foot - (20 mins walk to Blue Dolphin B&B.) As you exit from the Bus Station Terminal building, turn Left You will pass on your LHS "Dunnes Stores" & "Merchants Quay" Shopping Centre and at the end of this Merchants Quay Shopping Centre (it is the long brown brick building on your LHS) Turn Left you are now in St Patrick's Street Walk to the top of this street, and as the street swings to the left notice on the RHS: "McDonalds", "Argos", "Centra" Supermarket. Beyond these stores, at the next lights, Turn Right ("Singer Sewing Centre" is on LHS corner and "Finn's Corner" is on RHS corner). You are now in "Washington Street". Going straight on you will shortly pass on your LHS: "the River Lee Hotel" and at the next traffic lights "UCC gates". Go straight through these traffic lights leaving UCC Gates on your LHS. You are now on the Western Road. Walk on a short distance and directly across from the Bus Shelter on your LHS you will notice Blue Dolphin Accommodation Cork on your RHS. | ||||
