How to arrive at Accommodation Cork B&B — Blue Dolphin House — by car from Cork Airport (N27) - (via Cork Lough) - Total Distance 8.0 km.

As you leave Cork Airport turn Left on to the N27. Just after the 3rd set of Traffic Lights (approx 3.1 Km on N27 from Airport Roundabout) you will approach the Interchange. Ignore the slip road on Left on to N25 South Ring West. and ignore the next exit onto the N25 South Ring West Take the next exit (3rd exit)(signposted Turner's Cross). You will travel initially through what appears to be an Industrial Area Notice "Tile Centre" on your LHS; "Texaco" Service Station on your LHS. Go straight through 2 sets of traffic lights. Pass Turners Cross Motors on your RHS (Mazda, Audi, VW) Turn Left at the next junction (with lights), signposted "Ballyphehane" - (bollards are in centre of road here). After turning Left, Keep Left, leaving the AIB Bank on your LHS Stay on this road - do not deviate. Notice "Dolphin RFC" grounds on your LHS Go straight through along this road passing on your RHS a large brown brick Church ("Church of the Assumption", Ballyphehane). Further on pass on your RHS "Cork Lough" (bird sanctuary). Pass on your RHS the "Hawthorn Bar" pub. Further along while going down hill pass under the Opaque Pedestrian Tunnel at UCC. Shortly afterwards, swing with the road a sharp 90 degrees to the Right. Then swing, again with the road, a sharp 90 degrees to the Left. At the end of this road you will come to a 'T' junction. Turn Right - You are now on the Western Road (N22). A short distance on your LHS you will see Blue Dolphin Accommodation Cork B&B. There is set down car parking at the front of Blue Dolphin Accommodation Cork B&B. Our main car park is situated at the back of Blue Dolphin Accommodation Cork B&B. Access to Blue Dolphin House Car Park is from the Mardyke Walk. |
